Through-hole round LEDs are suitable for any application requiring backlighting or status indication. LEDs make home appliances and automotive interiors more attractive and unique. There are three types of LED technologies. Chips using GaP technology cater to low to medium light output requirements, while chips using AllnGaP and InGaN technologies cater to high brightness light output. Through-hole round LEDs are available in various packages such as 3mm, 4.8mm, 5mm, 8mm, and 10mm, with built-in resistors or low current options integrated, and color choices include green, red, yellow, white, blue, orange, and UV. These devices are molded with advanced optical-grade epoxy resin that offers excellent high-temperature performance and moisture resistance.
